Dmitry Sergeevich Kotov
Scientific Secretary of the Scientific and Engineering Republican Unitary Enterprise (UE) "Geoinformation Systems" of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Belarus
Born on 23 April 1986 in Minsk.
In 2008, graduated from the Belarusian State University with a major in "Physical Electronics".
In 2009, did a Master's degree in "Physical Electronics".
In 2012, graduated from his postgraduate studies with a degree in "Systems Analysis, Information Management and Processing".
Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor.
Author and co-author of more than 50 academic papers, including 1 patent.
He has been working at the NAS of Belarus since 2004. Since 2019 – as Scientific Secretary of the UE "Geoinformation Systems" of the NAS of Belarus.
Member of the Scientific and Technical Council of the UE "Geoinformation Systems" of the NAS of Belarus.
Main areas of expertise:
- Organization and elaboration of projects on the research-and-development, experimental design and technological work, socio-economic development plans, the Enterprise's prospective business plans, and business plans for investment projects.
- Operating control over patent and licensing activities.
- Organization of work within the framework of international cooperation of the Enterprise.
- Coordination, use and promotion of the results of accomplished research-and-development, experimental design and technological work to be further implemented by organizations of Belarus.
