BSU students visited «Geoinformation Systems» Unitary Enterprise

Students from Geography, Geoinformatics, Radiophysics and Computer Technologies departments of the Belarusian State University visited «Geoinformation Systems» Unitary Enterprise from May 28 to 30, 2024, as part of a scientific and technical cooperation agreement and of comprehensive and educational internships.

Students had a tour of the Mission Control Center of the Belarusian Earth Remote Sensing Satellite. During the tour, they learned about the operation of the Belarusian Space System for Earth Remote Sensing, the technologies for obtaining and processing space data, and its uses in the country's economy. The participants were particularly interested satellite control issues and the methods for processing the received space data. Managers and specialists from the company's departments led the tours.
