Geoinformation Systems UE participated in BELAGRO-2026 Exhibition
Geoinformation Systems UE, as part of the collective stand of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, participated in BELAGRO-2026 International Specialized Exhibition, part of the Belarusian Agro-Industrial Week, from June 2 to 6, 2026, at the Minsk International Exhibition Center (24 P. Medyolki Street, Minsk).

Belagro has been held since 1990 and is the largest demonstration platform for the achievements of the agro-industrial complex: modern technologies in agricultural production, the latest agricultural machinery, and advances in crop production, livestock farming, fish farming, and the processing and food industries. In 2026, more than 12 companies from 12 countries participated in the exhibition: Belarus, Russia, China, Georgia, Oman, Germany, Vietnam, Palestine, North Korea, Tunisia, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. The total exhibition area was 42,600 m² (including 12,000 m² of indoor and 30,600 m² of outdoor space).

At its booth, Geoinformation Systems presented a software package for acquisition and thematically processing of geodata on water bodies to identify and monitor phytoplankton blooms using remote sensing data, technologies of automated threat detection for natural ecosystems in specially protected natural areas using Earth remote sensing data, and an applied geoinformation system for transboundary river basins in Belarus.
