On December 4, a delegation from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus visited the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in composite and biodegradable polymer materials, renewable energy sources, and biomedical chemistry. They also considered prospects for joint development of hydrogen fuel cells. Following the meeting, cooperation agreements were signed.

The delegation also learned about the key achievements of the Changchun Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Changchun Satellite in the field of optical and satellite technologies. An agreement was reached on further steps to develop bilateral cooperation.
